Thank you, Jan!

Jan De Block has now been working for the Van Wellen family for 35 years. What began at Aannemingen Van Wellen has since developed within the Van Wellen Group, leading to his current role as Director of Projects & Facilities.

Three and a half decades of commitment, loyalty and unwavering dedication. His nickname “Nine Jan Jan” is anything but a coincidence. Jan is on call day and night—for his work, colleagues and friends. He carries that same drive into his free time, where he devotes himself with equal passion as a volunteer firefighter and ambulance crew member. Always ready to help others, wherever and whenever needed.

Working together for 35 years with different generations within the same family is the finest proof of mutual respect, trust and solidarity.

Today, we therefore say with conviction: thank you, Jan. Thank you for your dedication, your collegiality and your tireless commitment. Heartfelt congratulations, on behalf of the Van Wellen family and all your colleagues. And of course, we look forward to the coming years of close collaboration.
