Zimmerplein
Renovation project in the heart of lier
The Zimmerplein project is a unique location in the shadow of the historic Zimmer Tower, of which the first foundations date back to 1425.
The tower is named after clockmaker Louis Zimmer and is the result of the renovation of the medieval Cornelius Tower, which was part of the second wall around the city and is located on Zimmerplein.
Description
The Zimmerplein is located on the inner network of which the quay was formerly used to load and unload ships. Lier residents therefore often refer to the "quay" or "quay" when referring to the Zimmerplein.
It combines a quiet living environment with the typical Lierse cosiness in the heart of the historic center. This projects consists of fifteen uniquely renovated (rental) apartments and one commercial space.
